Ordained in the Kentucky Christian Conference in 1982-Left July, 2007.

Pastor Wilma Erwin and Elder Roger

Roger, an Elder in Christ Open Bible is the son of: Elder Lloyd Erwin and Sunday School Teacher Ruth Skidmore Erwin. Lloyd was called home in 1960. Ruth was a natural church historian. Roger is a graduate of Portsmouth Interstate Business College and has worked in his own Erwin Insurance Agency, drove school bus in Lewis County Schools and labored for the church since being saved in 1980. He was saved in a Revival held at Kibbey Chapel Church in Carter County, with his wife Wilma as Evangelist and his friend Bro. John Maggard as Pastor. He then challenged Wilma to help baptize him-her first.

Wilma , the Pastor of Christ Open Bible is the daughter of: Elder and Lay Minister, Roy Clark and Sunday School Teacher, Zora Bloomfield Clark. She is a graduate of Morehead State University, holding certification in Math, Physics, Health, Teaching, Counseling, Principal, Curriculum Director, Director of Pupil Personnel and Superintendent of Schools. She is retired from Lewis County Schools, has worked two years for Wheelersburg Schools and is currently employed part time for Washington-Nile as Director of Special Education.

They have one son, John Lloyd and his wife Kimberly McGlone Erwin. They are blessed with two wonderful, Christian granddaughters, Kayla and Kasey. Kayla is in her second year at Shawnee University studying to become a math teacher while Kasey is a Senior in high school planning to become a cosmetologist. The girls have lived to this point working alongside their grandparents.  Recently both have found serious "boy" relationships-maybe future branch offices for the Erwins.!

Roger and Wilma's pastor assignments include:

Working with John & Lena Maggard at Kibbey Chapel for four years.

Trace Fork Kentucky Christian Conference Church for seven years where they were blessed to see souls added and to help build a new building.

Bivens Chapel Kentucky Christian Conference Church for twenty years where they were blessed to see many souls added and to help build and pay for all new buildings.

Christ Open Bible, Church of Christ in Christian Union, for the last two years. This is a church plant and is seeing souls added and miracles happen.

WKKS Radio, 104.9 FM, has hosted Pastor Wilma for over 15 years in many programs and Radio Revivals.

The Lewis County Herald prints Wilma's Treasures weekly and has since 1992. She has authored many books, pamphlets, and articles for many Gospel organizations and denominations.

Wilma's work as an evangelist has been widespread added enjoyment to their ministry. Her love of the Bible (KJV) is evident to all who get near her. She loves to use teaching props and power point presentations to 'give a nail to hang the memory on' in her ministry. The Erwins have a long heritage of Christianity and live to pass it on. Wilma often expresses she and Roger have lived under a funnel where great people have poured themselves. They have received great people's 'Funnel-mentals'.

Taught at Faith Bible Institute, Christian Baptist, Wheelersburg, Ohio.
