PLAYING FOR KEEPS

Hi,   

My name is Laura McCormick and I am Children's Director  at the Christ Open Bible Church.

This is a special work for me because I know (without a shadow of a doubt)

I am where God wants me to work.

I love the kids that attend and am "playing for keeps" with them.  By this, I mean, their souls

are important to God and I want to teach them that serving God is a lifetime commitment. 

We are teaching them the things that will help them to know God and be on the winning

side of life.  A game of life that can be won. 

Our children learn to pray.    

In our church we are learning to worship the Lord and having fun in our learning. 

In Children's Church  you will find the kids standing behind the pulpit (built especially for their church)

reading the Scripture of the day  or maybe jumping around singing the "Hallelujah Hop". 

We do many fun things as we learn.

     I'm especially proud of the kids learning the Scripture's. They know The Ten Commandments, 

Mark 12:30,31 , John 3:16, and several more. We are a young church and this is a lot of learning for them.

They learn a lot by singing  and special activities.

     God is blessing our children and I want to invite you and your family to come visit us.

I "know" your kids will like church and you will meet the loving people of Christ Open Bible.
