                 Summary of Pastor Wilma's Messages

Some have requested the text and brief message summary for their personal study.

Nehemiah,

Read the entire book and see the help God gave a former rebellious people in rebuilding their city walls for they had a mind to work. They fought for their families and city and temple worship.

Entering Hope Through Faith and Grace.

Romans 5 tells us we enter justified by faith and have peace with God. We then stand in Grace, as in a room with Jesus. There we have hope. Next, life brings tribulation. We glory in it, not because we want it or trust in ourselves but because Jesus will bring us through it. We endure patiently. This gives us the experience that He did bring us through. We not are standing back in HOPE, through Christ.

Looking Beyond the Cross.

Hebrews 12, verses 1 and 2. Jesus did not want to go to the cross. He despised the shame of how He was treated. He endured it because of the joy set before Him. He looked beyond the cross. Are you looking beyond your cross to the joy of being truly RIGHT with God?

Living in Favor with God-

Abraham in Gen 18 entertained angels and talked to God because he lived in His favor. Because of their friendship, God did not destroy Lot when He destroyed Sodom.  I see the fellowship. I hear the singing.

Church, are we living in Jesus' and Holy Spirit's favor?  Do those who visit say, "I hear you talk about everyday life, people and things. BUT, I CAME HERE TO MEET WITH JESUS."

The Sanctified Life-Romans 12, verses 1 & 2. Truly give your "today" to Jesus to use your hands, eyes, ears, feet, mind, heart, and soul to His Kingdom's good. To be set apart for His use, under His command.
